Up and Coming

So some of you may have heard about some of the books that are coming out this month and in the next couple of months as well. Just this week the new installment to the House of Night novels by P.C. Cast and Kristin Cast came out and I’m am just about ready to read it.  This month Heir to Sevenwaters by Juliet Marillier comes out it is kind of a new installment to The Sevenwaters Trilogy..it continues in Ireland. I’ll try to post the reviews for the Sevenwaters Trilogy and The House of Night Series this weekend! Have a great Friday everyone!

Hey Readers!

Hey everyone it’s been awhile.  But its been tough to get on here to blog because school started so I’m really busy with that at the moment…unfortunately it’s going to last longer than a moment.  But what can you do I guess.  I will try my hardest to post new reviews soon including the Breaking Dawn review, since I haven’t gotten that one done just yet, and plenty of other reviews that may be books that would interest you or that you have already read. Enjoy the year and the last week of Summer, Fall starts on Monday. I’ll try to post soon!

Finished!

I finished Breaking Dawn last night!  It took me less than two days.  I thought that it was AMAZING!! I don’t know what everyone is talking about. I don’t understand why people hate it,  I loved it! But I guess everyone has their own opinion on how they think it should end.  But really it is all up to the author, she is the one who knows what to write and how the story goes.  But just reading reviews on Amazon I just don’t understand. I thought it was great. I’ll review it more in a while when it is more likely that everyone has it finished

Good News

Breaking Dawn – Great news everyone!!  As of right now there is only 2 days, 5 hours, and 48 minutes till Breaking Dawn comes out. I am extremely excited. I cannot wait for it to come out because, being the last book in the Twilight Saga I am eager to find out exactly what happens. I hope all of you Twilight fans out there are doing okay and just remember, only 2 more days!

Upcoming reviews

Hey readers!  Reader’s Abyss is kinda having a slow start but I’m working on it.  I’ve read so many books over the years that I hardly know where to start.  I figured Twilight would be a good place to start since we are so close to the release of Breaking Dawn. But I’m planning on posting reviews for the Harry Potter series soon and many more after that.  Sorry that it’s kind of slow coming but it is coming, and soon! Hope you keep reading books everyone!

Breaking Dawn

Breaking Dawn – This book is due to be released August 2, 2008. It is the fourth installment in the Twilight Saga, it has been said by Stephenie Meyer that it will be the last book from Bella’s perspective.

I am extremely excited for the release of this book.  I am eagerly counting down the days with all the rest of the Twilight readers until it comes out.  I can’t wait to see what will happen.  I had to use a great amount of self-control when I was in a book store a few weeks ago not to read the first chapter of Breaking Dawn in the special edition of Eclipse. And luckily I succeeded, otherwise I would be going completely crazy waiting those 25 more days till the release date, (not that I’m not going crazy already, I definitely am, but just not as bad as it would be had I read the first chapter).

I will post a review on this book as soon as I get it read, but it won’t be until August.  I think I can survive the wait, hopefully all of you can too!

Twilight

Twilight – When Isabella Swan moves to Forks to live with her dad, she expected to hate the dreary weather and small town. But then she meets Edward Cullen and feels a pull toward him like she has never felt before. With his copper hair, golden eyes, porcelain skin, and unexpected supernatural gifts, Edward is extremely hard to read but Bella is determined to find out the truth about him. What she doesn’t realize is how dangerous that truth could be.

I first read Twilight shortly after it came out. As soon as I started to read it, I couldn’t stop it was just such a good book. I read it within 24 hours. It is on my list of some of the best books that I have ever read. If you like paranormal books and romance than this is a great book for you. I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a great book. And remember it doesn’t matter if you are a young adult or an adult you can read this book no matter what. Hope you enjoy!

Twilight is also soon to be a major motion picture. It comes to theaters December 12, 2008. It is starring Kristin Stewart as Bella Swan and Robert Pattinson as Edward Cullen. The movie is directed by Catherine Hardwicke. The trailer was released a few weeks ago. To get more information about the movie you can visit Stephenie Meyer’s website, which is a link here on my blog.

Eclipse

Eclipse – Bella once again finds herself surrounded by danger, when an angry vampire continues her quest for revenge and Seattle is devastated by a string a mysterious killings. But in between it all, Bella finds herself having to choose between her love for Edward and her friendship with Jacob, all the while knowing that her choice has the ability to set off the ageless struggle between vampire and werewolf. But Bella has one more decision to make with her graduation coming up fast, is it going to be life…. or… death. But which is which?

After reading Twilight and New Moon I waited out the long year for Eclipse to come out. When it finally did I immediately started pouring over the book finishing it in no time at all. I couldn’t put it down, it was so good. Stephenie Meyer definitely has a gift for words, her books suck you in and keep you in the Twilight world well after the last page is read and they keep you hungry for more. If you have read Twilight and New Moon than I highly recommend Eclipse if you haven’t already read it. The Twilight Saga is one of the best series I have ever read and I have read a lot of books.

This is out of order if you don’t know that already. Sorry! I can’t seem to figure out how to make New Moon come second like it is supposed to, but what can you do I guess lol, but for anyone who doesn’t already have the order of the series memorized like me, it goes Twilight (1), New Moon (2), Eclipse (3), and Breaking Dawn (4). I will have information about Breaking Dawn soon, maybe even today. Thanks for checking out my blog!

New Moon

New Moon – Being in love with a vampire can be very dangerous, in fact it is even more dangerous than Bella Swan could have thought possible. For Bella, Edward Cullen is the one thing more important than life itself. Edward has already saved Bella from one evil vampire, but now with their relationship threatening all that is dear to them, they come to realize that this may just be the beginning of their troubles.

After reading Twilight I could hardly wait to read the sequel. When New Moon finally came out, basically a year later, I eagerly started reading, finishing it in just a day and a half. I feel such a great connection to Bella, whether because I am just about as clumsy as she is or I find myself wishing that I had Edward as my vampire boyfriend. But the way that Stephenie Meyer has written these books it’s like you are Bella when you are reading them, and I hope that anyone else who reads the Twilight Saga will enjoy them as much as I do and will feel that same great connection to Bella. If you have read Twilight I highly recommend New Moon to be your next read.
